ABBA Really Heals Part 4. Make the Great Exchange and Stand Firm in Your Liberty!

In Part 3, we focused on unmasking the emotional pain that was weighing us down during the holidays. We uncovered the root cause of the emotional pain, we faced it and confronted the hurts head on. Also, we identified five main areas of loss that could result in emotional pain. These areas are the loss of: (1) A loved one, (2) Self Esteem, (3) Peace, (4) Integrity, and (5) A right standing with God. We answered some simple questions regarding our true feelings toward each of these areas and we circled the corresponding negative words or feelings within each category of emotional pain. We then drew a cross on a sheet of paper and took every negative word and placed it on the cross. This exercise reminded us of Isaiah 53:4 and 5 that tell us that Jesus has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weakness and distressed) on the cross and with the stripes that wounded Him, we are healed and made whole (SEE PART 3).

It is important for us to believe that Jesus Christ died so that we might live. We don’t have to cope with our emotional pain or live helplessly. We don’t have to give up and commit suicide or become lame and paralyzed. We can move forward and have a future that in unhindered by our past. Jesus Christ died for us so that we could be healed, whole, and experience an abundant life. (AMEN! Abba Really Heals! We must believe this, receive it and walk in it! This can be your reality if you really allow Abba to take hold of every emotional pain.)

We moved through Thanksgiving and Christmas and as we approach the end of the year, perhaps you may be thinking about how you started 2015 with your loved one who is no longer here. You may also think about how your life was a little happier in the beginning of the year or how you may have been closer to God early in the year. Some may see the end of this year as just another year of feeling helpless or how the stresses of this year produced crippling emotions. Whatever the negative thought, know that you do not have to remain in this helpless position because when we are weak and helpless is truly when we give God permission to be our strength. We deny ourselves and accept Him. We place our human strength under God’s control and we allow Him to reward us with a life filled with His abundant grace, favor, good understanding and high esteem in the sight of God and man (See Proverbs 3:4 in the Amplified Bible). We truly humble ourselves and begin to immerse ourselves in God’s mercy so that He can touch us in those areas where we need Him the most.

My prayer is that you would give God an opportunity to be the strength of your life. What do you have to lose? I invite you to say the prayer of salvation with me. Our salvation must be settled and complete. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son and whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Romans 10:9 and 10 tell us that if we confess with our mouth, the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, then we are saved. Romans 10:13 tells us that “whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Our salvation is synonymous with our healing and wholeness.

Jesus took on every burden so that we would not have to carry any burden. Let the healing process begin and allow the Spirit of the living God to fully resurrect you. Allow God to give you a new life of hope and healing. Let go of the past pain and receive today’s blessings. Come out of your tomb of despair and hopelessness.

These things must be settled. Know that:
(1) God wants to heal you. Our hearts should be at peace. We are not created to carry the emotional pain and burdens that sometimes overwhelms our lives.

(2) Do you want to be healed? We must want to be healed. Don’t hold on to your emotional pain. Release it to God. Don’t become codependent with your hurt or with everything that surrounds the hurts.

(3) The Word of God must be settled in our lives. We must make God real to us by studying who He is. We must know God personally. God provided us with a book of promises and wisdom. His Book fully explains who He is.

(4) We are powerless without God. We must run to Jesus’ feet or learn to stay at His feet for daily renewal and strength.

As we end this series of Abba really heals, we must ask ourselves—REALLY—who is Abba? Then we must “exchange all our emotional pain and hurts for Abba. Abba is our source Father who loves us and who truly cares for us. Let us make the great exchange. Abba is :

Jesus (Matthew 1:21)
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)
Prince of Life (Acts 3:15)
Lord God Almighty (Revelations 15:3)
Word of Life (1 John 1:1)
Author and Finisher of our Faith ( Hebrews 12:2)
Shepherd and Bishop (I Peter 2:25)
Messiah (John 1:41)
Lord God Omnipotent (Revelations 19:6)
The Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25)
El Shaddai – the all sufficient God (Genesis 49:25)
Jehovah Rophe—Our Healer (Exodus 15:26)
Jehovah Shalom – Our Peace (Judges 6:23)
Jehovah Shamar—He is always there (Ezekiel 48:35)

Hold on to your healing by burying yourself in who God is. Allow God to bless you with His promise of Healing. Guess what? Abba Really Heals! Receive Him in Jesus’ Name. I pray that this 4 part series was helpful during the holiday season. God bless you.

Emmanuel! God with us! ABBA REALLY HEALS! (Part 3)

We have gone through the Thanksgiving Holiday; Christmas is this Friday and the 2016 New Year’s celebrations will quickly follow. While many have had great family fun times and are jubilantly celebrating, others are increasingly growing weary of their emotions that are continuously spiraling downward. (Please see parts I and II of this article). The good news is that we don’t have to just cope with our emotional hurts, we can be healed! ABBA Father stands ready to bring comfort and healing during difficult times.

As I think of my own emotional healing, I know that Abba really heals. At the age of 23 I suffered the loss of a husband, sister and uncle within a 7 month period. My young nephew tragically died 8 years ago. My Dad died 3 weeks after the exciting start of our Church Ministry in 2010 and my Step Dad suddenly died in September. However, through each situation, I know that Father God is truly my Source of Healing and Wholeness and that He is with me comforting me throughout every trial. He has healed me from past and present hurts and I am His Ambassador; fully persuaded and determined to represent Him in the earth—He is the Healer and the Great Physician over all of our cares, brokenness, burdens, worries, issues, and stress; no matter how deep the emotional pain.

Part I of this BLOG encourages us to recount our own story of brokenness and admit that we need help. Part II declares that many people are spiritual widows or spiritual widowers. These are people who are in a complete broken state. Complete brokenness can be the result of the loss of a loved one, loss of self-esteem, loss of integrity, loss of peace or perhaps the loss of a right standing with God. Each loss in our lives has the potential to result in further chaos and turmoil if it is not identified, controlled, and healed. If you find yourself without a true sense of direction or focus in your life because of a loss or brokenness you must make the choice to find help.

In this third BLOG, we will travel a little further to unmask every emotional pain that is weighing us down and find help from ABBA who really heals. We will define the emotional pain and name our enemies. Then, we will confront them head on. We will give them to Abba who will take all our hurts and fill all of our empty places. Remember that our goal is to be healed and made whole and to move through the Holidays knowing that God is with us and comforting us every step of the way.

How do we define our emotional pain and how do we name our enemies? For starters, we begin by identifying the losses, hurts, issues, as well as every associated sinful behavior that stems from every out of control emotion. We stop and ask ourselves, why am I acting this way? Is this normal or healthy? What is the root cause of this type of behavior? Am I masking something else? Am I getting heavier and more weighed down as time goes on? Are the people around me troubled, weary, and affected by my spiraling emotions? Do people try to avoid me because of my spiraling emotions?

Too often we suffer from shadows which are the unidentified that lurks, stalks, and plagues us. Giving your emotional pain a name adds substance to those shadows and causes us to more clearly understand our issues. Let’s begin to add substance by categorizing our emotional pain into these areas:

Loss of Loved One
1. If you suffered the loss of someone close to you, write down his or her name.
2. Have you ever accepted the loss?
3. How do you feel about this situation?
4. Do you still experience emotional responses to this loss?
5. Do you have suicidal thoughts as a result of this loss?
6. Do you sometimes blame that person for leaving you behind?

Loss of Self Esteem
1. When you look at yourself in the mirror, do you like what you see? Why or Why not?
2. Do you see a beautiful or handsome person with potential and purpose in life? Why or why not?
3. Do you see someone whose existence is valuable to the world? Instead, do you see someone with little or no value; someone who is unworthy of love and admiration of others including God?

Loss of Peace
1. Are you burdened today and burdened on most days?
2. Are you easily frustrated with life?
3. Do you fear life and are fearful of making simple decisions?
4. Do you lack peace and feel as though you have no resting place?

Loss of Integrity
1. Do you believe that you are morally sound and complete?
2. Do you feel trustworthy and do your actions follow your words?
3. Is your standard of life based on God’s word, current trends, or approval from friends and family?
Loss of Right Standing with God
1. Do you truly know your creator? Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior
2. Do you know God well enough to trust Him even when things go wrong?
3. Do you have a sin that so easily entangles you? When you fall into this sin, do you feel that God is far away from you and that He hates you?
4. Do you sense God’s mercy, love, and grace, continuously in your life?

Any other areas of Loss not identified
Identify when the emotional pain began. Also identify every reoccurring symptom that you are experiencing.

Carefully circle every strong negative word that appears in your answers to each question. Do you see any reoccurring theme (such as anger, loneliness, fear, rejection, abandonment)? These are the enemies to your emotional pain.

We are now ready to take every enemy to ABBA who really heals. Boldly draw a tall and thick cross and begin to add every negative word to every area of the cross. If you are honest with yourself, you will notice how quickly the cross is filled up. Some of you may not be able to recognize the shape of the cross after adding all of the strong negative words on the drawing.

The purpose of this exercise is to remind us of Isaiah 53:4 and 5 in the Amplified Bible. “Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses and distresses) and carried our sorrows and; pains [of punishment] yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole”.

This passage of scripture identifies what was happening on the cross when Jesus was smitten, stricken, and afflicted by all of our hurts, pain, sins, and everything that threatens our well-being and our wholeness. Your marked up drawing represents those stripes that wounded Jesus more than 2000 years ago. Before He formed you in your mother’s womb He knew you. He knew every emotional pain and incident that would occur in your life. But, Jesus also had a plan to bring us “peace” in the midst of every stormy situation. We must remember that Jesus died so that we might live. He took on every one of our concerns and they were nailed to cross with Him. Jesus declared at His death that it is finished. As you look at the cross that you marked up with all the negative words, release every emotional pain and declare that it is finished. Jesus already bore it for you.

Now remember that Jesus’ life did not end with His death. He rose from the dead so that you too might rise up to an abundant life of healing and wholeness. Receive the abundant life by receiving and experiencing the power of Christ’s resurrection in your own life. ABBA is able. Your wholeness is dependent on this act of courage. Turn it over and give it to Him now! ABBA really heals!

(Unresolved emotional pain can be dangerous)
(Part 2) Copyrighted by Elder Dorn J.B. Walker

As I continue with Part 2, I am repeating my concern that as some are preparing for precious family times and elaborate menus and décor, the emotions of others are beginning to spiral down. This is why I am stirred to write to all who would read and receive comfort during this difficult time.

As I think of my own emotional healing, I know that Abba really heals. (Father God is truly our Source of Healing and Wholeness). He healed me and I am His Ambassador; fully persuaded and determined to represent Him—He is the Healer and the Great Physician over all of our cares, brokenness, burdens, worries, issues, and stress; no matter how deep the pain.

Part I of this BLOG encourages us to recount our own story of brokenness. Take your time as you pen it in your diary or where ever you choose. Be real in expressing your emotions because healing begins when we admit that we cannot in our own strength put the pieces back together again. I also stated that before I could fully come to grips with my need to be healed, I had to fully acknowledge my total brokenness and I had to fully surrender to the fact that I was weak and helpless and could not do a thing about it. This is the place where new life begins because we now give God the opportunity to come into our lives and point us to “Wholeness”. Remember God is the Healer and the Great Physician. However, the only way to God is through His Son Jesus the Christ. I encourage you to give Jesus an opportunity to come into your life right now. Acts 2:21 says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ into your life, this is the beginning of acknowledging Him as the real and only healer. Some of you may say: Well, I have already accepted Jesus into my life but, I have some serious emotional hurts. Welcome to Part 2! This section is critical because it speaks of the fact that “Superficial Christianity can be dangerous”. The reality is that we hurt over the loss of our loved ones because we miss them so much. We were connected to them for a length of time and we had a special relationship with them. However, if we accept Jesus Christ and do not have a personal relationship with Him, we will find ourselves with a superficial understanding of God and never experiencing His delivering power. We must take the time to know God personally.

For example, some may quote short and easy phrases when asked about their well-being–by saying “I’m blessed and highly favored” or I am blessed by the best”. This is all good and I truly believe in prophesying over our lives. However, true healing shows up when we are real with God and ourselves and when we have a personal intimacy and relationship with the One who heals. Quick and easy quotes may only serve as band aids to cover up the real turmoil that is still occurring in our lives. If we don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ we will find ourselves pretending to be a victorious Christian, without understanding what it really means to have victory in our lives.

God showed me that many people are spiritual widows or spiritual widowers. These are people who are in a complete broken state. Complete brokenness can be the result of the loss of a loved one, loss of self-esteem, loss of integrity, loss of peace or perhaps the loss of a right standing with God. The emotions of a spiritual widow as well as a traditional widow have the same effect upon us. We often feel paralyzed and unable to move forward with life. With a full understanding of God, we can move forward because He makes all things possible in our lives.

Isaiah 33:6 says that wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of our times and the strength of our salvation. We must allow ourselves to grow both in the wisdom and knowledge of God because “Unresolved emotional pain will become dangerous”. While going through emotional hurts, we become vulnerable and an open prey to the enemy who wants us to fall into deeper depression that may cause all types of sinful behaviors and turmoil in our lives. I Peter 5:8 tells us to be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour. If we don’t take the time to grow closer to God, we may fall so low that we find ourselves dying spiritually. This would be a greater problem. So please don’t allow yourself to die spiritually.

In summary, each loss in our lives has the potential to result in further chaos and turmoil if it is not identified, controlled, and healed. If you find yourself without a true sense of direction or focus in your life because of a loss or brokenness you must make a choice. Imagine yourself in a car driving into the land of despair. You can continue to drive the car further into despair or you can stop and park until you determine how to find hope. If you can relate to being in this position, I recommend that you stop the car and park until you determine how to find hope. Cry out to God who brings hope and comfort. Stay tuned for Part III on the subject: Defining the Emotional Pain and Naming Our Enemies.

Life After Loss:29 years later. (copyrighted By Elder Dorn J.B. Walker)
(Part I)

As we near the holidays, I am mindful that as some are preparing for precious family times and elaborate menus and décor, the emotions of others are beginning to spiral down. So I am stirred to write to all who would read and receive comfort during this difficult time. It’s been a while; but there is never a written word until Abba inspires me.

As I think back some 29 years ago, I know that Abba really heals! (Father God is truly our Source of Healing and Wholeness). He healed me and I am His Ambassador; fully persuaded and determined to represent Him—He is the Healer and the Great Physician over all of our cares, brokenness, burdens, worries, issues, and stress; no matter how deep the pain.

As you read this BLOG, don’t cry for me, I am free and my prayer is that you too will make the right choice to freedom! On this very date on October 21st in 1986, I became conscious of eternity and I was presented with pressing choices at the young age of 23—the choices were screaming—WHAT WILL IT BE? My choices included: (1) Do I settle with depression, heartache, stress, and emotional pain? Do I wallow in self-pity with a constant victim mentality? OR…there it was the big OR; (2) Would I be willing to accept and receive the Love, Joy, and Peace instead of my destructive emotional PAIN by learning to live free with Jesus, God’s only begotten Son, who rules and who reigns? Yes, He wants us to reign with Him and to truly experience the power of His resurrection from every low place. We can get to that place and we can get there now!

I am so free and yes, I didn’t and I don’t suppress! Suppression is a fake place and I don’t wear masks or believe in them. No masquerades for me please! What you see is what you get! I like and I am attracted to real things—because they make us “free” to be who we were always meant to be. This is a beautiful place of no hindrances. As I learned to turn over my crazy life to Jesus, He taught me how to move forward intentionally, cautiously, and purposefully until everything that hindered no longer blocked my view to freedom’s destiny.

As every emotional moment seemed to press me down, I looked forward to the supernatural RISE to higher heights and to a deeper sensing of Abba’s love and closeness. I simply learned that no matter what, He WILL NEVER LET GO! He has me!

In my book, “Life After Loss: A Journey Into Wholeness”, my very first Pastor, the late Dr. Charles Phillips writes in his foreword—“By death, divorce, abandonment, rejection, or any other of life’s occasional cruelties, it hurts to lose. The sense of loss is difficult to articulate in that its intangibility is relative. Paul states in Second Corinthian 1:8, “…that we were pressed out of measure…” As this great apostle tried to express the depth of his despair, there was no way to measure it. There was just the sense of pleasure exhausted. The unfortunate part of passing this way is that many feel destined to remain at this state in life. If you are one of those who arrive at this address; you have several options open to you. The choice you make will determine your future…”

Yes, we have the power to choose. As we choose, don’t bargain and switch relentlessly. God is not into the business of bait and switch. We can make permanent choices that will forever change us and mold our future with permanent strength and wholeness. Keep in mind that our wholeness directly or indirectly affects everyone around us—either positively or negatively. When we choose wholeness, everybody wins. Come on, GO FOR IT! As you choose to win, everyone around you will also win and that is some awesomely great news! (Whole people attracting whole people–wholeheartedly!) Wow, I like that! It came right through me…I would not have thought of that!

Here is my story—Part I

On October 21, 1986, my husband’s death began a series of tragedies that left me feeling trapped in an enormous storm with gigantic whirlwinds. (Yes, I became a widow at the age of 23.) On this date, I was a college student with 6 weeks left to complete my bachelor’s degree in Accounting—and I had to choose–I also had a 4 year old daughter—I became a single parent and I had to choose. I had no job—but I had to choose.

I will never forget that day. I was home studying for an exam while my husband, Steuart H. Wheatley, went fishing with friends. At about 4:00 p.m. the Police called my home to tell me that there had been an accident. The Police went on to say that your husband had accidently drowned—His voice trailed off in the distance…My life instantly turned into a nightmare which I knew I had to wake up from—If I stayed there, I would die and I wanted to. What a pitiful state. Four days later, my Uncle Emmanuel Bertrand died suddenly from a heart attack. A month later, a $150,000 lawsuit was filed against me from a traffic incident that occurred two years earlier. Also, I learned that my oldest sister, Gloria, was terminally ill with breast cancer. She died seven months later. Gloria was a second Mom to me and I loved her dearly (As I write this blog, I also honor my sister and remind all of us about breast cancer awareness Month).

I cried uncontrollably for weeks. I was suicidal, numb, and I could not sleep. My motivation for life was gone and I almost dropped out of College because I saw no reason to continue. I was losing my mind and I felt as though no one understood what I was going through. My tragedies were too much for me to bear. At the age of 23, my life should be just beginning. Instead, it felt as though it ended…Why, God, why?

I came to a point of brokenness and surrender. This is the place where new life begins. Will you take a few moments right now to recount your own story of brokenness? Take your time. You may want to start with a diary or a piece of paper and allow all of your emotions to press through. Healing begins when we admit that we cannot in our own strength put the pieces back together again. ( I wish Humpty Dumpty had caught on to this. We could have saved him!) On a serious note, recounting the story of your emotional pain has a purpose. Your story is as a dirt filled bucket that needs to be dumped. The dirt represents the hurts, disappointments, and emotional pain in our lives. Any solution (liquid) added to the dirt will only turn into mud…the mud represents a constant life of obscurity, confusion, and darkness…with bad choices; always going around in circles; and with a foot hold of always living in bondage. The reality is that We need to yield the dirt to God who can supernaturally unload the filth! This is the 1st step…in your Journey Into Wholeness…Hold on and stay tuned for Part II. God can and will take you there. Let us journey through the Holidays together! Love, Joy, and Peace be unto you.

In 2015, walk with “Expectancy”!

Copyright and Written by Elder Dorn J.B. Walker (Walls of Salvation Church Ministries)

Before we move further into this year, it is imperative that we allow this word “EXPECTANCY” to seep deeply into our hearts. God is speaking so clearly to His people. His word this year is that ALL BELIEVERS MUST WALK WITH “EXPECTANCY” in 2015! We are to:

(3) EXPECT – “INCREASE” and lastly,
(4) EXPECT – “THE POWER OF GOD” to be manifested!

Let’s look at a verse of scripture that many have quoted but perhaps paid only casual or nominal attention to.
Proverbs 13:12 says: Hope deferred makes the heart sick. But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life….Let’ look at 4 key words in this scripture that will help us to understand “expectancy”. The words are:
(1) HOPE, (2) DEFERRED (3) HEART and (4) SICK

(1`) HOPE
In this scripture hope comes from the Hebrew word Towcheleth). Its root word is “Expectation”. Here, hope also means to wait, to tarry, trust. (I simply paraphrase this to say—I know something so great is around the corner and I am expecting it any moment—It is so great that I am willing to wait for it —it is so big that I AM TARRYING AND TRUSTING FOR IT. I can literally taste it. What are you waiting for? Do you sense the word Hope? Are you shifting a little in the area of hope?

NOW here is what happened next in this verse. As I was expecting, waiting, tarrying, and trusting for this great thing, SOMETHING HAPPENED. Oh, Oh, A Deferral appeared in front of me. It came in my way… something moved in—it appeared to have the appearance of blocking this thing that I sensed so badly– The very thing that I trusted to appear any moment. In Proverbs 13:12, this is what deferred means:

Is taken from the Hebrew word mashak which means to prolong, to delay, stretch out. In this scripture, deferred is used as a verb, It means to be EXTENDED, to DRAG…

So up to this point we see IN this PROVERBS, the very BOOK WRITTEN TO provide WISDOM, DISCIPLINE, AND A PRUDENT LIFE. This proverb is warning us and telling us to be aware of the fact that THE VERY THING THAT WE ARE WAITING, TRUSTING FOR TARRYING FOR, EXPECTING CAN ENCOUNTER A DRAG OR AN EXTENTION. This very thing can experience a delay. It can be prolonged AND WHEN THIS HAPPENS….OUR HEART IS directly AFFECTED. We must understand that there is a direct correlation between this deferral and the proper functioning of our hearts.

What does Proverbs 13:12 say about the heart. Heart in this scripture is the Hebrew word “labe” (pronounced “leb”). It refers to our feelings, will, intellect (this describes the area of our soul) our mind, understanding, wisdom, aims, thoughts, and principles.

As soon as the deferral moves in, ALL OF THESE AREAS are affected and infected. All of our choices and what we desire to do, all that we think, our plans or lack of plans, our goals or our pointless living—(in essence, our will, intellect, mind, and aims are directly correlated to this deferral and we must become keenly aware of this fact).

Here is the big reality. This direct correlation RESULTS IN BECOMING SICK:
The 4th word SICK taken from Proverbs 13:12 is Chalah (pronounced—Khaw-law) means to be worn, weak, afflicted, to grieve, to be wounded. We become worn out, weak, afflicted, we grieve, and we are wounded. We suffer an assault.
The very moment we lose sight of “hope” or “expectation” is the moment our heart—the vital life line of our life becomes sick affecting every goal, aim, understanding and all of our feelings.

Therefore, the key word for 2015 is that it is important for us to understand that the deferral by itself has little or no effect on us if we keep “Hope” and “Expectation” in the right position. “Keep them out of the deferrals”!

In this year 2015, God wants to remove us from focusing on the deferral and He wants to place us right in the MIDDLE OF OUR EXPECTATIONS. In reality, we must become intentional and declare “I AM COMING OUT OF ALL DEFERRALS”

WHEN HOPE IS DELAYED, PROLONGED, STRETCHED OUT—We grieve and feel afflicted. God wants us to know that “Hope” is meant to be operated in the present AND NOW—IT IS MEANT TO BE ACTIVE. It is a VERB–it is happening now—and not to be deferred. Hope and Expectation stand alone. They represent their own meaning. They stand on their own ground. Don’t try to give them new meaning. They stand alone and they are enough for us. We may find ourselves thinking: “WELL MAYBE”— GOD may have SAID IT—however, the QUESTION IS: DO YOU BELIEVE IT? If we don’t fully believe what we know, our heart will not function properly—it will become and stay sick.

To summarize, this PROVERBS IS SAYING THAT when Hope functions the proper way—THEN I AM A HEALTHY BELIEVER. I AM NOT SICK–I truly believe. This means that I am whole in my understanding of God. Because I am whole in my understanding of God, the area of my soul (my mind, will, intellect, seat of emotions, my conscience all line up with God. AMEN!

When we walk in this state of wholeness, we become “Expectant” believers. WE KNOW THAT WE ARE PREGNANT AND WE ANTICIPATE giving birth. How many of us know that not even a Doctor or midwife can stop our delivery when we are pregnant. We are pregnant and at the time of birth, the baby WILL come. Nothing can stop it! Hallelujah.

How many believe that they are pregnant right about now? I am declaring that there are many pregnant believers who will give birth in 2015. If you are pregnant then believe God that the very thing that we hope for is coming to past…AMEN!

Picture yourself this year. Are you pregnant?

Here is another key point to ponder as we walk with “Expectancy”. Pregnant believers fly high in the Kingdom of God. Pregnant believers fully understand their posture in God’s Kingdom. They understand the posture of being above and not below. They understand the posture of being the head and never the tail. So let’s use this simple example for further clarity. Just as an airplane is designed to fly, we are destined to reign in God’s Kingdom. Picture this for just a moment.

HOW many of us, when we board an airplane EXPECT THE AIRPLANE TO FLY? HOW MANY expect the airplane to stay grounded? Isn’t it frustrating, when A FLIGHT IS DELAYED or when takeoff is prolonged?

THE LATER PART OF Proverbs 13:12 says…WHEN DESIRE COMES. (When satisfaction comes, when delight comes), it is a tree of life.

How many of us are anticipating something this year? Really!
Are you Pregnant with something?
Do you believe for something?
Do you trust for something? Then, this is your year to fly high in the Kingdom of God. This is your year to be deeply rooted so that life would spring forth.

Just as an airplane is expected to FLY, know that your desires are coming in 2015. As you delight yourself in the LORD…Surely, He will grant you the desires of your heart and you will fly high and reign in God’s Kingdom.

JUST AS THE AIRPLANE IS EXPECTED TO FLY…WE TOO must move into ACTION. EXPECTANCY MUST BE AT THE FOREFRONT. In order to move in EXPECTANCY, WE MUST BE AWARE OF the SAME 4 PHASES that are necessary for an airplane to fly. I pray that these 4 phases will STAY WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THIS year. The 4 phases are:
(1) LIFT
(4) DRAG

Now let’s look at each phase that must be implemented this year.
1) We must surround ourselves with individuals who will LIFT US. Lifters are those who will draw us closer to God–NOT THE ONES WHO PULL US AWAY. Not the ones who draw us closer to a personality or to an Agenda. Not the seducing spirits or those who operate selfishly in the flesh for earthly gain. We must surround ourselves with those who lift us closer to God. Only God can blow the breath of life into our lives when we fully accept His son Jesus Christ.
2) Remove all WEIGHTS FROM OUR LIVES. How many of us ever tried to jog with 20 lbs. attached to each ankle. This sounds really crazy. When we try to move or rise up with weights attached to us, we will only be held back. We must remove all weights. All of us can identify the weights in our lives. We are not meant to carry them. Take them off. We must fly! Remove all hindrances and encumbrances so that flight would easily occur.

3) Look for the ones WHO THRUST US Closer to God by the use of His WORD. Thrusters are those who desire for us to grow spiritually. Thrusters continuously push us and prod us. They often induce our labor in anticipation that we will give birth. Thrusters continue to induce until something happens. They induce until the birth canal is opened. I personally thank God for the thrusters in my life. They allowed me to give birth. Glory! Thrusters may appear tough but their goal is for you to give birth. They will often tell us–YOU CAN DO all things through Christ who gives you strength.

4) LASTLY, we must COME OUT OF THE DRAG. Ironically, drag is a synonym for the word DEFERRED used in Proverbs 13:12. God is saying in His word; don’t let the DRAGS HOLD YOU BACK. Drags are obstacles and roadblocks designed to take you out. Drags are equated to satan himself who prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. His goal is to kill, steal, and to destroy our lives.

DRAGS are never able to fly and they want to ensure that you will never fly either. But you must believe that YOU WILL GET THERE. AMEN!
I declare and I decree that in 2015, Expectancy will be realized when we steer clear of the drags. Don’t allow drags to remove you from your high place. We are destined and designed to reign in God’s Kingdom.

911 USA PATRIOT — Ambassadors— we must ACT

© Elder Dorn J.B. Walker September 11, 2014

It’s an emergency! It is time to Unite and Strengthen Ambassadors by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism!

In my previous life, I was privileged to be one of the founding employees of the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security. I remember the day, vividly, when the Lord placed on my heart the need to start a bible study and prayer meeting with other believers in Homeland Security. This group was formed shortly after my agency merged with other agencies from all over the federal government. The one thing we had in common was our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and our desire for our God to intervene in the affairs of our country and world. Our foundational scripture for this group was Psalm 127:1 (b) “Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.” (NIV) Week after week we met and prayed. We never stopped believing that God would intervene.

Here we are today– many years later on this 13th anniversary of September 11th. What is God saying to us as a body of believers? It is still an emergency and there is a definitive war going on. Can you see the real war? Where do you stand? I don’t know about you –but I am in it to win it! I Corinthians 15:57 says: Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus. All we should see is Victory—we should live, breathe, walk, talk, act, react, speak, and preach, whatever the case–VICTORY! Amen.

I Corinthians 15:46 says: However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. Very early in my Spiritual walk the Lord showed me the direct correlation between what is going on in our world, environment, and our community to what is really going on behind the scene in the spiritual world. As we all remember that grave day, September 11, 2001 (May God bless, comfort, and restore everyone directly affected—who may have suffered the loss of a loved one). But, may God truly restore and deliver the Body of Christ from the spirit of Fear and from the doorway that it opened for other demonic activities that came over our nation and world as never before on that day. II Timothy 1:7 says: “For God did not give us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (NKJV) Also, Isaiah 12:2 says: Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid” (NKJV). To “Trust” is to have cheerful or hopeful endurance, constancy, patience, confidence. The opposite of “trust “is to have despair, hopelessness, and gloom. When we truly “trust” God, we will encourage ourselves in the Lord and not second guess ourselves based on our circumstances. We will stand firm and wait patiently for our change. Trust will always cause us to press forward even when we cannot hear or see God.

As the spirit of fear came upon our nation and the world on 9/11, we must come to realize that the demonic dark spiritual world is real and Terrorists did strike on that day. What we saw in the natural was a manifestation of a dark spiritual side that entered America and the rest of the world. We must ask ourselves as Ambassadors of God’s Kingdom. Where am I spiritually and what is up with me? In Psalm 18, David declared that God first delivered him and then made him a deliverer. In verse 37, David said: “I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. Verse 50 says: Great deliverance He gives to His king and shows mercy to his anointed….This means that we, Ambassadors, MUST GET RADICAL in the Kingdom of God. The enemy is not playing. his goal is to wipe us out. John 10:10 tells us that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and to destroy…But Jesus said: I have come that you may have Life, and that you may have it more abundantly.

The question on 9/11 is: Are we yet delivered so that we could bring deliverance to this lost and dying world? We need to implement our USA PATRIOT and ACT. All over the world, the Body of Christ needs to Act by uniting and strengthening Ambassadors by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism. Woe unto us if we are trying to fight a spiritual war by natural means. If we are truly delivered, then it is the will of God that we bring deliverance to others. Ephesians 2:1-2 (Amplified) say: “And you [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins. In which at one time you walked [habitually], You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of the present age], following the prince of the power of the air, [you were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God]. Verses 4 and 5 go on to say (Amplified): “But God—so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ: [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace ( His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation)”.

Today, as we reflect on Terrorism, we must realize that the real enemy we are pursuing is made up of 12 strong men. These strongmen do come to live with us believers if we let them in. They dwell with us and destroy us if we refuse to stay delivered and do not become radical in the Kingdom as we enforce God’s authority here in the earth. Today, once and for all—Let us be delivered so that we could bring deliverance to others. Let us know and defeat the 12 STRONGMEN UNDER WHOM ALL DEMONIC ACTIVITY EXISTS. In Matthew 28:18, Jesus says: …All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth…go therefore…WE MUST ENFORCE GOD’S AUTHORITY HERE ON EARTH AS BELIEVERS OF CHRIST. Luke 10:19 says: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Matthew 16:19 (Amplified) says: I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven: and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven. Mark 16: 17 …In My name they will cast out demons.

If you experience any signs of these 12 strongmen listed below—cast them out and declare God’s deliverance, grace, and salvation over your life. Take up your tools and intercept and obstruct the enemy—the real terrorist.

1. SPIRIT OF JEALOUSY – manifests by Rage, Anger, and Suspicion, Murder, Revenge, Vengeance (Numbers 5:11-14 Spirit of Jealousy). We see this just by turning on the news…Gang violence and other types of killings. Rage…of individuals snapping and killing thoughtlessly (Not just in a physical sense—Our (hurt — emotional) actions may also kill the dreams, ambitions, and excitement within us and in others.

2. LYING SPIRIT – manifest by all religious spirits. This is a fake spirit that manifests with fake tongues…may sound high pitch and babbling etc…actions of the person is to make others think that they know God – you may think that the person is of God unless you can discern otherwise. The religious spirit is a very filthy spirit. It is a stubborn, controlling and forceful spirit. Often manifests as always right—people don’t feel comfortable around this person if you are not in their clicks. This person always says “God says”… The person with the religious spirit is a little batty and crazy. (Jeremiah 23:14-16. Ezekiel 24:9-12).

3. FAMILIAR SPIRIT – I Samuel 28:7. This is the spirit of divination. These people act holy and as though they know the future…Astrology, fortune telling, etc…Deut. 18: 10,-12. All the psychic little places we see everywhere and the witchcraft that dominates the TV and movies. And people who conduct séances…etc…The stories of dead loved ones reappearing THIS IS A DEMONIC SPIRIT AND IT IS NOT OF GOD!

4. PERVERT SPIRIT – READ Isaiah 19:14, Prov. 14:2 this includes all forms of lust. Prov. 23:33. This person lives a lie. Acts 13:10. The person twists the word to fit their lifestyle. This spirit controls all homosexuality. It hates God and causes people to live a lie. It is a very convincing spirit. Everything the person says is a lie. This is one of the strongest demons because it uses the bible prove it is right.

5. SPIRIT OF WHOREDOM – manifest by prostitution, idolatry, people bound to ALL TYPES OF HABITS…soap operas and TV shows etc.. Hosea 4:12 Ezekiel 16:28-39

6. SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS – Isaiah 61: 3 manifests by despair and gloominess, grief, hopelessness, rejection. This spirit also comes from emotional abuse. Many are becoming despondent because of the crushing cares of this word and are literally losing their minds …through this spirit of heaviness.

7. SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY – Luke 13:11 This includes all sickness and diseases…this spirit is dominating as the well being of our country and others are going downhill…in many cases because of the greed of other men trying to make money …overdose of prescription drugs…toxic food systems etc….There are many cases of Doctors being arrested for overdosing and illegally prescribing medications.

8. DEAF AND DUMB SPIRIT – Mark 9:17-25 manifests by epilepsy, seizures, anorexia (refusing to eat) suicide, and lunacy. People are going crazy and insane everywhere…Parents are killing their own children etc..Matt. 17: 14, 15

9. SPIRIT OF FEAR – II Timothy 1:7 manifested by Torment, Terror, inferiority, phobias (height, dark etc…). This spirit causes nightmares. Job 4:14

10. SPIRIT OF PRIDE–(Proverbs 16:18) Fighting, contention. Proverbs 13:10, Prov. 21:24. Self Righteousness and a person who is controlling. (Lucifer was filled with this spirit of pride and was eternally sent to hell)

11. DEVIL OF BONDAGE Romans 8:15 manifests by all addictions (i.e. Drugs, sex, pornography, video gaming obsession etc…)

12. DEVIL OF ANTICHRIST – (I John 4:3, I John 2:18) manifest by all who are against Jesus Christ and nations that believe in Jesus Christ. This spirit is clearly on the rise. Many false religions are rising up while Christians seem to be shrinking back.

Again, unite and strengthen yourselves, Ambassador of God’s Kingdom and take the necessary steps to intercept and obstruct the real terrorist. satan is defeated. JESUS IS ALIVE AND HE IS LORD!

Run—-to the Power of God’s Presence! by Elder Dorn J.B. Walker

Copyright Elder Dorn J.B. Walker

A clarion call has gone out to the Church! The trumpet has sounded in Zion and God is telling His people to flee idolatry and run to the power of His Presence! The church, who is the Bride of Christ, has somehow forgotten about the marriage to the bridegroom (Jesus Christ) and has become betrothed to the “wisdom of man” and to other earthly, fleshly carnal desires. This abominable act has caused the church to become an adulterer. And, there is now a great crisis of Idolatry that is causing much deception and a great falling away of the assembling together by many who solely seek salvation, solitude, refuge, and purpose in the power of God through His Son Jesus Christ. We must return to living in accordance to the Spirit of God instead of living in accordance to our fleshly nature–the nature that only leads to death. The good news is that God stands ready to deliver us if we would humble ourselves, pray, seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways.

What is Idolatry? Idolatry can be defined as blind or excessive adoration or love toward anything or anyone other than God. To idolize is to regard with unquestioning or excessive admiration or devotion. God’s word is clear concerning Idolatry. His word states that we are to have no other gods before Him, and that we are to try every spirit to see if it is from God—We shall know every spirit by the fruit it bears. Many in the church are troubled about the appointment of the first homosexual Bishop in the Episcopalian Church. But, how many are indignant to the Idolatry that is raging rampart throughout the Body of Christ! This recent appointment merely represents the rising stench from a fruit that is already rotten. We must come to grips with the root cause of our sin that is greatly affecting the Body of Christ and is causing us to become a reproach among the nations.

So what does the word of God say concerning this crisis? God’s word tells us that every believer’s daily confidence is found only in the power of God and not in the wisdom of man or in any earthly carnal desire (I Corinthians 2:5-6 and Psalm 27). This simple truth can indeed incite us to rekindle and to re-ignite our relationship with the almighty God in order to rise from this crisis of spiritual defeat to a place where we experience the victorious life that Jesus Christ paid for by the act of His own death for our sins and by His resurrection that brings us a new and victorious life!

We can find an example of this foundational truth in Psalm 27. The central theme of this chapter is found in verse 4. The amplified version reads “One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple”. This verse illustrates how David tapped in to the secret of “his daily confidence” during a time of great crisis and despair. David’s rediscovered confidence victoriously restored him to his rightful position in God. In the latter part of verse 3, David said “in this will I be confident”…. He said one thing have I desired or asked of the Lord that will I seek after is that I may dwell in the house of the Lord. David’s confidence was fully restored when He ran to the Power of God’s presence.

In order to understand more fully the depth of David’s declaration concerning his daily confidence, we must look at the other verses in Psalm 27 and explore the entire history surrounding the writing of this tremendous Psalm of David. Psalm 27 was written during a time when David and his people were destitute while in the dessert wilderness. Yes, David was still King, but he fled his throne with many of his people after his son Absalom tried to dethrone him and take his life. This account is found in II Samuel Chapters 11 through 18. This Psalm was written after David went through and was still going through much mourning and despair. In brief, II Samuel chapters 11 – 18 can be summarized as follows: (I recommend that you read and study these chapters for yourself.) (1) David sinned with Bath Sheba and killed Uriah her husband, (2) Bath Sheba became pregnant with David’s child. The Child became ill and died, (3) David’s son Amnon raped his sister Tamar, (4) the other son Absalom took vengeance and killed Amnon, (5) Absalom rose up and rebelled against His Father David to over throw him from the throne…David gathered up His people and fled because He was afraid of Absalom and the evil that followed him. This was the same King David that killed the bear, the lion and the great philistine Giant Goliath…David’s heart was overwhelmed from his mourning and despair which left him in a state of turmoil and a sense of weariness. His issues began to overtake him and He lost sight of God —Instead, David began to run from a mere man— His own son…II Samuel 17 states that David and His people became hungry, thirsty, and weary, in the wilderness. Not only was there a natural hunger, thirst, weariness, and loss of direction in the wilderness, David also suffered from spiritual hunger and thirst for the righteousness of God and He grew weary of toiling in his own strength which brought him to a spiritual wilderness. However, II Samuel Chapter 17 shows that David came to His senses and he received both natural and spiritual provisions…this was about the time that David wrote Psalms 27. David realized that his confidence was found only as he solely desired to run and return to his first love—the dwelling place of God. He then submitted His life fully to God.

Many have talked about the aforementioned sins of David throughout II Samuel. However, David’s problems actually started before any of these sins manifested…his problem started when he elevated his position of authority above the almighty God and abused his power as king. This is where idolatry and deception began in David’s life. When David came to his senses he declared exuberantly in Psalm 27:1-3 “the Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and my foes they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. Then David’s confidence kicked in and he said: one thing have I desired of the lord that will I seek after –is that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty…(sweet attractiveness, the splendor, the holiness, the grace) of the Lord and to inquire in his temple… God then covered David with his supernatural grace as David beheld the beauty of the Lord (Amazingly, Beauty is defined as Grace in the Hebrew–God’s unmerited Favor—the reward that we can’t ever work for….His GRACE is always sufficient for us!) At this moment, David and his people were no longer hungry, thirsty, or weary in the wilderness. David came to the realization that only God could fill his hunger for righteousness–only God could be his strength in his time of weariness and only God could quench His thirst in his dry dessert wilderness. David’s renewal brought him so much confidence in God that II Samuel chapter 18 stated that for the first time David stopped running from man and gathered his people to fight back…He had so much renewed energy that he was ready to fight with the army.

David overcame his sin of Idolatry and Adultery against God as he renewed his relationship in the presence of God. So what Spiritual Provisions are available to us when we run to or return to the Power of God’s Presence? These provisions can be found in Psalm 27 verses 5 through 14. These provisions were available to David when he exuberantly declared them by faith and they are available to us today through our faith in Jesus Christ!

God will hide us in the time of trouble and set us upon a rock

“For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.”

This rock is Jesus. When my heart is overwhelmed, He leads me to the rock that is higher than I. The name of Jesus is above every name (he is higher than your hurts, your problems and all of your issues)

God lifts up our head and causes us to offer sacrifices of joy and praises unto God.

“And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.”

When God lifts up our head, we do not need validation or approval from any man. Idols are often formed when we seek validation outside of how God sees us. We must love God (only) with all our heart, soul, and mind and we will discover that in his presence there is fullness of Joy and that the joy of the Lord is our strength. We should never place our confidence in the wisdom of any man. One of the great dangers of Idolatry is seen in many churches today that have taken on a “University Style” of fellowship. Members of this style of church sit back in the university of great learning while being taught by so called leaders who have achieved tenure status in the word. These members sit back and take notes never questioning or testing the spirit to see if the word is from God. This practice often leads us to Idolatry, which is an unquestioning, improper excessive admiration to these so-called leaders. It seems as though the crisis in our church today has caused us to create yet another class in society. Like the Young Urban Professionals (Yuppies) and the Black Urban Professionals (Buppies) many have now taken on this new fashion as if the church is now a group of Christian Urban Professionals (Cuppies). But God is saying flee idolatry and RUN to the power of His presence! Do not be deceived by idol worship. The last time I checked the word of God, it stated that we are all the same at the foot of the Cross—the place where we first saw the light. We must return to our first love before it is too late.

Another danger is found as many in the Body of Christ intellectualize the presence of God and react to the offering of sacrifices of joy and praises unto God with mockery. This behavior unknowingly lessens the power of God in our own lives and causes us to continue in a life of defeat. I have heard believers making comments such as “it doesn’t take all that so you need to get out of “la la” land and stop operating in sensationalism”…but God’s word says that in “His presence there is fullness of Joy. I’ve often said that we better leave people alone when it comes to the way they choose to worship and praise God because you never know what God has delivered them from…and sometimes you don’t want to find out—it may blow your mind…I guarantee you that if God delivered you from something horrific…you won’t walk around casually talking about —oh bless the Lord. You too will be sing lalalalala! The oil of joy is fully available in the lala land of God’s presence!

God grants us mercy when we cry out and causes our hearts to yield in His presence

Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When you said , “Seek My face,” My heart said to you, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”
Let us learn to freely worship God with out approval and hindrances from man. The word of God says that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty. David knew the power of God’s presence and never apologized for the way he worshipped God. David’s act of worship showed His full love for God with all his heart, soul, and mind.

God never hides His face from us and never leaves nor forsakes us.

“Do not hide your face from me; Do not turn your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the Lord will take care of me.

God stand ready, willing and able to deliver us from all our troubles. The power of God’s presence assures us that we are never alone.

God teaches us His way and leads us in a smooth path.

“Teach me your way, Oh Lord, And lead me in a smooth path because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence.”

As false witnesses, false prophets, and leaders run rampant we can know that in the power of God’s presence the Lord will teach us his way and the mere wisdom of man will never deceive us. True Godly leaders should always work together with God in building and empowering God’s people to propel into purpose, movement, and destiny…this is important so that the Gospel of the Kingdom may be preached throughout the entire world. A false leader often posses a controlling spirit which hinders the discovery of individual purpose and robs us of our Godly uniqueness that is vital to advancing the Kingdom of God.

Lastly, in the power of God’s presence, we will learn courageous faith to wait for God as we expect to see His goodness in the land of the living

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed to that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And he shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say on the Lord!”

Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Seek His presence and courageously expect the rewards of His goodness in the land of the living!

When we run to God’s presence to seek His face–desiring solely to dwell in the Power of His presence the Lord will reveal His purpose for our lives. Many people have asked –how do you know your purpose…my answer always is– seek his face and stay in His Presence…Behold His beauty and inquire while you are there. Jesus is our ultimate example. He came down from heaven in the form of a mere man leaving his divinity behind. Jesus sought the face of His Father and he inquired in GOD’S presence for instructions…Jesus also faced many enemies and he faced despair…But he learned to wait on his Father as He faced these enemies and as He faced the final despair of the Cross…Paul said that this Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith “for the joy that was set before him He endured the cross.” He always ran to Power of His Father’s presence because this is where he found his strength to fulfill his purpose (in the presence of God there is fullness of Joy). Jesus sought the power of God’s presence until He became the Christ and was anointed to do His Father’s will of becoming Saviour for all mankind. Isaiah 61 says:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance to our God; To comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. There is a great exchange that occurs between lost man and God if we learn to have one desire (to love the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul and all our mind) to seek His face and to run to his presence. We must also know that the Spirit of God is sevenfold as stated in Isaiah 11. Seeking God’s presence makes the supernatural a natural part of our daily lives. The Spirit of the Lord is made up of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, knowledge, and reverential and obedient fear of the Lord.

The Body of Christ must come to grips with the fact that our world is dying and that our society is rapidly deteriorating before our eyes…there are many who are poor and brokenhearted, there are many who are in spiritual and natural captivity and are in darkness in normal prisons and in the prison of their own minds, there are many who are mourning and are in despair. God needs us to take the Gospel of His Kingdom to the world. This Gospel of the Kingdom reveals His BEAUTY (HIS GRACE) and takes away the ashes, it also reveals his OIL OF JOY and takes away the mourning, it reveals the garment of praise (where He lives and stands ready to assist us during every time of trouble ) to take away despair….God spoke through Haggai the prophet as he stated “Is it time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin? Give careful thought to your ways…Go up to the mountain and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored.” As we look around there are churches on almost every corner of our society. What effect are we having on this world? How are we truly advancing the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven? Who is running to the Power of God’s Presence to obtain answers for building the Kingdom of God?

Jesus stated in John chapter 14…in my Father’s House there are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am…He further stated when He was questioned by Thomas, “I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE no one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jesus was saying that He is the Doorway to your room that allows you to come in and worship the Father in the Power of His Presence in Spirit and In Truth…So that you can truly find the Life of an unbroken fellowship with God…a place where you see Him in the beauty of His holiness, a place where we find purpose to assist God in building his Kingdom. Right now let us recommit our lives to God and return to our first love. Let us run now to the Power of God’s Presence. Let us Go up to the mountain to bring down timber to build the house of the Lord….You see the body is in such a crisis…Let us now make a conscious decision to turn away from our sin of Idolatry and Adultery against God. Let us turn away from the Wisdom of Man and our earthly carnal desires and Run to Power of God…Let us exchange all of our burdens now for a time of refreshing….Let us Behold the Beauty of the Lord, His HOLINESS, Splendor, sweet attractiveness, His grace, Let us access the Oil of Joy and put on the garment of praise (the place where God Dwells) and let us inquire in HIS temple and learn of Gods ways and His purpose for our own life.
